Garth Mussey

Garth Mussey's work experience includes various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Garth is currently the Director of Training and Operations at Empower Pharmacy, a position they have held since November 2023.

Prior to this, Garth worked at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2016 to 2023, starting as a Manager in QA Operations Training and progressing to Associate Director of Operations Training. In their roles, they identified training needs, developed training programs, and ensured compliance with regulations.

Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Garth had work experience at Mylan as a Senior Manager and Manager of Global Quality Compliance. In these roles, they conducted evaluations of quality systems and practices at Mylan sites worldwide, and identified opportunities for compliance improvement.

Garth also worked as an Independent Consultant at Redbock, where they provided guidance and expertise in manufacturing operations, quality systems management, and compliance.

Earlier in their career, Garth worked at Patheon as a Training Manager, designing and implementing training programs, and at Ben Venue Laboratories in various managerial roles. At Ben Venue, they oversaw quality assurance, managed the audit/oversight function, and developed and delivered training on GMPs and SOPs.

Garth also had a brief role as a Business Consultant at Bayer.

Garth Mussey earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, General from the University of Pittsburgh between 1978 and 1986.
