Lina María Botero Vergara

Lina M. is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience at the BBC since February 2017, currently serving as a Strategic Finance Business Partner. Lina M. has held various key roles, including Private Secretary to the Chairman, Finance Business Partner for BBC News, and a member of the Next Generation Exec Committee. Lina M. also has a background in corporate finance, having completed the BBC Finance Leadership Development Scheme, and previously worked as a Finance Analyst and Management Accountant at BBC Studios. Earlier experience includes a role as Assistant Management Accountant at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics. Lina M. holds a Chartered Management Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Finance from Monash University.
