Carmen E. Gomez has extensive work experience in the human resources field. Carmen E. started their career in 2004 as an Office Assistant at Custom Polymers, Inc. Carmen E. then joined Men's Wearhouse in 2005 and held various roles including Human Resources Assistant, Human Resources Representative, Benefits Specialist, and Human Resources Projects Specialist. In 2014, they worked at Stage Stores as an HR/Benefits Analyst and later became an HR/Benefits Supervisor. Since 2016, Carmen has been with Empyrean Benefit Solutions, Inc., where they started as a Client Service Manager and progressed to become a Sr. Client Service Manager and currently serves as the Director of Client Services.

Carmen E. Gomez has a professional development in Human Resources from Rice University's Glasscock School of Continuing Studies in 2010. In 2013, they attended Houston Community College to study PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management) with a focus on Human Resources Modules.
