Goodwell Nzou

Goodwell Nzou, Ph.D., serves as Principal Scientist and Scientific Liaison at Emulate, Inc. since November 2021. Previously, Goodwell held the position of Senior Field Clinical Scientist at Abbott for a brief period, providing critical insights during clinical study protocol development and enhancing communication between scientific and clinical teams. Goodwell's foundational research experience includes a postdoctoral role at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on novel therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases, and graduate research at Wake Forest University, where innovative 3D organoid models were developed to study the blood-brain barrier. Goodwell's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine and Translational Sciences from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Nazareth University. Early research experiences span various areas including medicinal chemistry and molecular biology, showcasing a strong commitment to advancing healthcare through scientific innovation.
