Position Summary

The Liens Representative assists in data entry, prepares documentation for accurate processing of liens, filing and mailing of liens on behalf of the Complex Claims department as it concerns the Motor Vehicle Accident team. This position is responsible for gathering lien specific information, maintaining extreme privacy, and security as it relates to confidential and proprietary information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate data entry.
  • Monitor lien deadlines and execute lien filings in accordance with state statutes.
  • Analyze liens for basic requirements and alert Manager or Operations team if corrections are needed.
  • Accurate Lien processing in accordance to company specifications.
  • Support operations team by communicating barriers in lien perfecting and performing additional administrative tasks in relation to liens, such as mail processing and tracking.
  • Utilize EC systems in conjunction with state specific software to accurately notate and record lien information.
  • Processing incoming recorded liens and releases, including scanning, uploading and filing.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years’ client facing/customer services experience is required.
  • 1+ years’ experience with Motor Vehicle Accident and third-party Liability complex claims is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access office equipment, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a copy/scan/print machine, phone and computer.
  • Must have strong computer proficiency and understand how to use basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
