R&D Test Engineer at Enapter

Lisa Fantini has a broad range of work experience in engineering, research, and education. In 2020, they worked as a R&D Test Engineer at Enapter and an Assistant Electrical Engineer at 149 Medical, where they documented, assembled, and tested electrical components for medical devices. In 2019, they were a Hardware SENSE Course Seminar Assistant and an Engineer Intern for the ROMI project at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, where they created electrical drawings and documentation for a rover, and improved the design of the rover prototype. Lisa also worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at Mesural, where they developed a bill of materials for components needed for a sensitive amplifier circuit and designed and implemented a prototype using Electrical CAD programs. In 2018, they were a Master's Student at the Plasma Engineering Lab, where they advanced dielectric and plasma metamaterial technologies. In 2017, they were an Assistant Researcher at the Renewable Energy and Applied Photonics Lab at Tufts University, where they built a photoluminescence setup to characterize photovoltaic cells. Lisa was also a STOMP (Student Teacher Outreach Mentorship Program) Employee at the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach in 2014. In 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Nanolab at Tufts University, where they designed testing environments for experiments and designed and fabricated original designs of electrochemical paper-based analytical devices. Lastly, in 2015, they were a Research Assistant at a Radiology Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they prepared and scanned sections of postmortem human brains using Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging.

Lisa Fantini attended Tufts University from 2014-2018, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Electrical Engineering. Lisa then returned to Tufts University from 2018-2019, where they earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
