Jefferson Arruda

Jefferson Arruda is a Project Engineer at SafeKick since July 2021, specializing in MPD operations and overseeing the testing of new SVD software builds while monitoring real-time operations both in the field and remotely. Prior experience includes serving as a Drilling Fluids Engineer consultant for Newpark from April 2019 to July 2021, specifically for the Saudi Aramco contract in Saudi Arabia, and as a Drilling Fluids Engineer at Newpark Drilling Fluids from January 2010 to December 2018, where responsibilities included managing drilling fluids for offshore and onshore operations in Brazil and ensuring environmental compliance. Jefferson's career began at the Drilling Fluids Laboratory from June 2006 to February 2010 as a researcher focused on innovations in drilling fluids, along with training and instruction roles. Jefferson holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Rio Grande do Norte University, earned between 2006 and 2010.
