Samit Kundu

Samit Kundu is an accomplished bioinformatics professional currently serving as Associate Director and Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Enara Bio since April 2022, where focus is on research and development to optimize bioinformatics pipelines for tumor target generation and providing statistical and coding solutions. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Imperial College London from August 2019 to March 2022, applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to investigate preterm birth. Additionally, Kundu was a Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University from September 2014 to January 2019, responsible for teaching undergraduate modules in statistics, bioinformatics, and molecular biology. Earlier experience as a Research Associate at UCL involved developing genomic pipelines to study various viral dynamics. Kundu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics, both from Queen Mary University of London.
