Anna Pettersson currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Encare since February 2019 and has been a Consultant in Sales & Marketing Operations at Salusa Medical since January 2014. Previously, Anna held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing Operations at Core / ElectroCore from August 2011 to December 2013 and served in various capacities within Sales & Marketing Operations at ArthroCare Corporation from March 1998 to September 2011. Anna's career began at Medtronic Synectics as Director of Information & Communication in Investor Relations from April 1996 to July 1997, after which roles at Synectics Medical involved project management and regulatory affairs. Anna holds a degree in Information, Communication & Public Relations from Berghs School of Communication and has additional education from the International Schools of Stockholm University.

Encare has the rights to commercialize surgical protocols developed by the ERAS® Society. The ERAS® Society, a non-profit scientific organization, develops perioperative care protocols and improves postoperative recovery through research, education, auditing and the application of scientific, evidence-based best practice. ERAS® Society has published a wide range of peer-reviewed publications that establishes, changes and updates best practice.
