Santiago Perez Gonzalez

Santiago Paz is a seasoned Senior Data Scientist currently specializing in Sustainable Finance at ICE since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Data Science Technical Lead at Mott MacDonald from November 2019 to March 2023, where Santiago also held the position of Data Scientist. Santiago began the career at Caixabank Business Intelligence as a Data Scientist and Data Science Intern from April 2017 to July 2019. Earlier roles include Research Assistant positions at the PRBB (Barcelona Biomedical Research Park) and York University, as well as a tenure as a Mathematics Teacher at Toronto International College. Santiago holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the Barcelona School of Economics, a Specialization Certificate in Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from York University.
