Eric James, CRCM

Eric James, CRCM has been in the financial services industry since 2004. Eric began their career at GE Commercial Finance, where they held roles as an Operations Liaison to the Global Sponsor Finance Group, an Operations Team Lead, and a Senior Operations Analyst. In 2008, they moved to GE Capital where they held roles as a Compliance Officer for Corporate Finance, an AVP of Compliance, and a Non-Earnings Operations Team Lead. In 2016, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director of Compliance Risk Assessment and Strategy, where they managed the completion of the Annual Compliance Risk Assessment for two nationally-chartered banks and provided strategic guidance for the Customer Complaint Program. In 2018, they joined Encina Private Credit, LLC as a Managing Director of Operations & Compliance. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Encina Capital Partners, LLC as a Managing Director of Operations & Compliance.

Eric James obtained their B.M. in Music from Indiana University Bloomington in 1900. In November 2015, they received their Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from the American Bankers Association.
