Omar Shykhkerimov

Omar Shykhkerimov has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Omar is currently working as a Technical Lead at TrustPoint.ai since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at SourceDesk as a Founding Engineer from January 2019 to August 2020. At SourceDesk, they were involved in the development of a B2B sourcing startup, where they worked as a backend engineer, data scientist, and DevOps specialist.

Before SourceDesk, Omar worked at SciForce as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2018 to July 2019. In 2016, they had two different roles at Quantum_Inc., where they worked as a Lead Data Scientist from May 2017 to February 2018, and as a Data Scientist from November 2016 to May 2017.

Omar's career began at Mirantis in February 2016, where they worked as a Python Engineer until October 2016. At Mirantis, they contributed to the open-source OpenStack Murano project and worked on providing a user interface and API for composing and deploying composite environments on the Application abstraction level, along with managing their lifecycle.

Omar Shykhkerimov completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" in 2016. Omar then went on to pursue a Master's degree from the same university, specializing in Applied Mathematics and Intelligent Data Analysis. Omar successfully completed their Master's degree in 2018.
