Sreya Nandanampati

Columbia University Chapter Copresident at Encode Justice

Sreya Nandanampati has a diverse range of work experience. In 2019, they founded and served as the President of the South Asian Students for Progressive Action. Sreya then became the Founder & President of the Columbia University Chapter of Encode Justice in January 2022, and later transitioned to the role of Georgia Chapter Lead & Advocacy Fellow. In February 2022, Sreya also held the position of Head of Media at the Columbia University Fashion Society. In 2022, they worked as a New Pathways Scholar at Bridgewater Associates and was selected as a 2023 OIP Scholar at Girls Who Invest. Most recently, they served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Columbia Engineering, assisting in a research project on addressing racial biases in language translation.

Sreya Nandanampati attended Lambert High School from 2017 to 2021 and obtained a High School Diploma. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Archaeological Anthropology at both Barnard College and Columbia University. In 2023, they obtained certifications in Foundations of Investment Management from Wharton Online, Certificate(s) for Investment Principles from Wall Street Prep, and an Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute.
