Nikolay Vaptzarov

Nikolay Vaptzarov is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications and computer architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Endava since February 2010, following the merger with DEK Technologies in 2023, Vaptzarov previously held the position of Design Engineer at DEK Technologies, where responsibilities included leading a team to enhance telecommunications infrastructure modules. Prior to this, Vaptzarov worked as a Senior System Engineer at Star Intellect Pty. Ltd., focusing on system design for antenna interfaces and GPS timing modules. Earlier career roles include positions at NEC Australia as a Senior Design Engineer, where development of wireless technologies was key, as well as R&D Engineer roles contributing to multimedia systems. Vaptzarov's foundational experience began at the Institute of Instrumentation and Computer Technique in Bulgaria, where leadership in projects on parallel computer architectures was established. Academic contributions include work as an Honorary Visiting Fellow at The University of Manchester.
