Alex Urdea

Alex Urdea, CFA, serves as the Managing Partner at Deep Ocean Partners since January 2022, where the focus is on building a specialty finance holding company that delivers capital solutions using data-driven insights. In addition to this role, Alex is a Mentor at Endeavor, aiding high-impact entrepreneurs, and an Advisor for Sidera Labs, providing guidance to early-stage eCommerce startups. As a Co-Founder and Chairman of Brandslandia, and a Venture Partner at Polymath Ventures, Alex is actively involved in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Latin America. Alex also holds advisory positions at Staytuned, Hypefast, and RITMO, while investing through a Private Family Office. Educational credentials include a BSE in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University, along with CFA, FRM, and CMT designations.
