Casey Hathcock

Casey Hathcock has a diverse work experience in the medical technology industry. Casey started their career as a Senior Research Scientist at Avocet Polymer Technologies in 2005. Casey then worked at VNUS Medical Technologies as a Sr. R&D Engineer, contributing to the development of medical devices for treating varicose veins. From 2007 to 2013, they joined Covidien as a Principal Development Engineer in R&D, focusing on the design and development of an RF Generator for varicose vein treatment. Casey Hathcock then worked at Hansen Medical as a Staff Mechanical Engineer, where they led the detailed design and testing of new products and processes. Casey later joined Outset Medical, Inc. as a Principal Engineer, contributing to the development of a hemodialysis system. Most recently, they worked at ZOLL Medical Corporation as a Principal Mechanical Engineer before joining EndoGastric Solutions as a Principal R&D Engineer in 2016.

Casey Hathcock obtained a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, Casey earned a BS degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, from 1995 to 2001. Additionally, Casey obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Professional from DS SolidWorks Corporation in June 2013.
