Marcelo Oliveira has extensive work experience in product management and product marketing roles. Marcelo currently holds the position of VP of Product Management at Endor Labs since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Virsec as the Chief Product Officer from 2022 to 2023 and as the VP of Product Management & Product Marketing from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the VP of Product Management at Contrast Security. Marcelo also worked at Symantec as the Sr. Director of Product Management from 2016 to 2018. Their earlier experience includes various roles at Cisco, where they were the Director of Product Management from 2014 to 2016. Marcelo also held positions as a Sr. Manager in the Collaboration Technology Group, playing key roles in launching innovative services and transforming the video infrastructure business. Marcelo began their career at Siemens, where they worked as a Hardware and Embedded Software Engineer from 1998 to 2001 and later as a Technical Lead and Lead Software Architect from 2001 to 2006. At Siemens, they led R&D projects, represented the company in industry alliances, and led engineering efforts for audio and video conferencing products. Prior to Siemens, Marcelo worked at BEA Systems as a Principal Business Development Architect, managing global alliances and partnerships. Throughout their career, Marcelo has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving business growth and innovation.

Marcelo Oliveira completed their education in a chronological order. Marcelo started with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecom from the Federal University of Technology - Parana, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors in the year 2000. Following this, they pursued Advanced Studies in Software Engineering and Engineering Management at Santa Clara University from 2003 to 2004. Lastly, Marcelo obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing, Finance, and General Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, concluding their studies in 2010.
