Sunny Shah has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sunny started their career as an undergraduate researcher at the University of California, Davis, where they focused on studying cell interactions and developing computational models. Sunny then went on to work as a graduate researcher at the Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology, where they conducted collaborative research projects in South Korea. Sunny later joined UC Davis as a graduate researcher with a designated emphasis in biotechnology, conducting doctoral research on bioactive hydrogel surfaces.
Afterward, they joined the University of Notre Dame as a senior scientist, leading operations in an engineering research laboratory and mentoring graduate students. Sunny later transitioned to ESTEEM at Notre Dame, serving as an assistant director and faculty member for their technology entrepreneurship program. In this role, Sunny led curriculum design, advised students on go-to-market strategies, and developed a next-generation capstone thesis experience.
Most recently, Sunny has been working at Endotronix, where they have held multiple roles. Sunny started as a project manager, overseeing various projects, and eventually became the senior operations manager. Currently, they serve as the associate director of production operations, responsible for managing and optimizing production operations.
Sunny Shah holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, which they obtained from 2006 to 2011. Sunny also earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the same university, completing it from 2008 to 2010. Furthermore, Sunny obtained a Project Management Certification from the University of Notre Dame in 2012.
