Position Overview: Reporting to the Head of Product Engineering, the Principal Software Test Engineer is responsible for creating and improving software test automation framework, test case design, and test automation code, performing software product testing and troubleshooting, and coaching and mentoring other software test engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • •Create and refine test automation framework
  • •Develop effective product testing strategies and test plans
  • •Ensure optimal coverage and traceability of product requirements and use cases
  • •Promote sound design and best practices in product testing while maintaining practical and deadline-driven
  • •Plan, develop, and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases
  • •Manage and track test plan execution, monitor and report defects and resolutions
  • •Assist with production issue investigation
  • •Research and evaluate new technologies and tools for testing facilitation
  • •Mentor and coach other software test engineers
  • •Perform other related duties as required

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent and/or appropriate experience.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing including automation.
  • 6+ years of experience in multi-tenant SaaS, web and mobile apps.
  • 6+ years of experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Postman, and Swagger, and testing frameworks such as Cucumber and SpecFlow.
  • Expert-level understanding of QA testing principles, concepts, and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of web application and service architecture and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in creating or revamping test automation framework.
  • Proficiency in test automation programming in C# or Java.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and test automation pipeline.
  • Prior experience in eClinical domain, life sciences, or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
