Lennart Damen has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Lennart started their career at Essent as an intern, where they worked on gas storage optimization. Lennart then moved on to Philips, where they designed and deployed a custom algorithm to enhance the efficiency of their evaluation process. After obtaining their PDEng Data Science degree, Lennart became the Chairman of the PDEng Data Science Association DSconnect, organizing various events for the Data Science community. Lennart later joined Coolblue as a Data Scientist, responsible for optimizing the company's pricing strategy. Lennart then worked at JADS as a Data Science Mentor, providing technical support to professionals in their graduation projects. Currently, they are working at BigData Republic as a Machine Learning Engineer, creating predictive models and developing data applications. Lennart's most recent role is at Eneco as a Lead Data Engineer, where they are involved in automating forecasting techniques and enhancing the accuracy of predictions using Machine Learning. Overall, Lennart has proven expertise in data science, engineering, and mentoring, with an ability to drive impactful projects and deliver valuable solutions.

Lennart Damen completed their education with an Engineering Doctorate in Data Science from Jheronimus Academy of Data Science in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Business Analytics and Operations Research from Tilburg University in 2018. Lennart'sundergraduate education was at Tilburg University as well, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics & Operations Research in 2017. Lennart also obtained several certifications in various areas such as machine learning, big data, and Python programming between 2018 and 2020.
