Harri Vihriälä

Harri Vihriälä is an accomplished professional in the field of renewable energy and electrotechnics, currently serving as Key Corporate Technology at ENERCON since April 2016, focusing on the development of new generator concepts and leading technology projects. Previous experience includes significant roles at Cummins Power Generation, where efforts led to a major efficiency improvement in design processes, and as a wind power developer and team leader at Leitwind, featuring the design and testing of gearless wind turbine systems. Harri also held academic positions as a senior researcher at Tampere University of Technology, contributing to advancements in axial flux permanent magnet generators. Educational qualifications include a Dr.Eng. in Renewables and Electrotechnics, Tech.Lic in Renewable Energies and Business, and an M.Sc. in Electrotechnics and Business, with further studies in Power Electronics at RWTH Aachen University.
