Mathias Schaffer

Mathias Schaffer is an experienced professional in sustainability and innovation, currently serving as the Founder and CxO of Triple i&t since February 2024, a think tank focused on sustainability. Additionally, Mathias has been a board member at Green Energy Lab since February 2018 and a Scout and Mentor at Next Incubator since January 2017. At Energie Steiermark AG, Mathias has held the positions of Head of R&D and Head of Innovation since April 2010, overseeing research coordination and innovation projects in renewable energy. Previously, Mathias worked at Steweag-Steg GmbH from January 2000 to March 2010, leading customer data management. Academic credentials include a Master’s module in Climate Change and Sustainable Transformation from the University of Graz (March 2023 - April 2024), a degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Graz (2021 - February 2023), and a Master of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering from Technische Universität Graz.
