Yunhong Liu

Yunhong Liu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. They started their career at Broadcom in 2005 as an RF Engineer. They then joined Rayspan Corporation in 2008 as a Sr. RF Engineer. In 2010, they moved to WD, a Western Digital company, as a Principle Engineer in the System Architecture Group. After that, they worked at Avago Technologies in 2015 as an R&D SI/PI/EMI in the FOPD department. Currently, they are working at Energous Corporation, where they have held two roles: Sr. Manager of Antenna and Application Engineering from June 2016 to April 2019, and currently as the Director.

Yunhong Liu holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Peking University which was completed in 1998. Yunhong then pursued their Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the same university, which they completed in 2000. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electromagnetic & Microwave Theory from UC Irvine in 2008.
