Ronnie Mair

Ronnie Mair is an experienced Heavy Lift Crane Operator with a solid background in the offshore and drilling industry. Currently employed at Seajacks since June 2019, Ronnie operates heavy lift cranes and also takes on roles such as Deck Supervisor and Fireteam Leader on the Tender Barge T12 in Thailand. Prior experience includes positions at Energy Drilling Pte Ltd as Night Barge Captain and Heavy Lift Crane Operator, and at Seadrill as a Heavy Lift Crane Operator from December 2010 to October 2014. Ronnie's career began at SEDCO FOREX from January 1995 to January 2001, transitioning from Roustabout to Crane Operator, gaining diverse skills in cargo handling and emergency response. Additional roles with Sparrows Offshore Services from January 2000 to January 2010 included Crane Operator and participation in emergency response teams. Education includes training as a Crane Operator, complemented by a foundational education at Buckie High School.
