Hyun Suk Kang

Hyun Suk Kang is a Metrology Scientist at Energy Materials Corporation, specializing in the optical characterization of high-speed roll-to-roll printed MHP photovoltaic (PV) panels since September 2020. Prior to this role, Hyun Suk served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on the fabrication and characterization of bilayer films and photophysical properties of semiconducting materials. Hyun Suk's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Chemistry and Integrated Science. Research experience spans across optical metrics development, reliability testing of PV modules, and computational investigations of molecular interfaces in photovoltaic cells.
