Dinesh K Dissanayaka

Dinesh K Dissanayaka is an experienced Battery Project Engineer at Energy Queensland since October 2022, contributing to the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan with a focus on renewable energy and grid-connected battery systems. Prior to this role, Dinesh served as Chief Engineer for the Colombo Port City Development Project and Chief Engineer of Commercial and Customer Services at Ceylon Electricity Board from December 2010 to October 2022, overseeing significant power and energy demands in Colombo. Dinesh's earlier experience includes various engineering positions related to electrical engineering and maintenance at CEB and a role as a Visiting Lecturer at the Open University of Sri Lanka. Dinesh holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Open University of Sri Lanka, alongside other technical qualifications.
