Han Yang Chiu

Han Yang Chiu is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in metering support and power systems, currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Metering Support at Energy Queensland since May 2021. Previous roles include Acting Asset Enablement Manager and Acting Metering Technical Manager at Yurika, where Han played a pivotal role in developing metering strategies and managing vendor contracts. Han's career began at Energex, progressing from a Graduate Power Engineer to various engineering positions, including Network Operations Standards Engineer and Protection Engineer. Han holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Business Marketing, and possesses several professional certifications, including MIEAust, CPENG, RPEQ, NER, and APEC Engineer.
