James Bondio has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Manager of Engineering Data Solutions and Manager of Portfolio Data Analytics at Energy Queensland since 2017. In this role, James oversees data provision and analysis that inform strategic and operational decision-making for work and asset safety. Previously, James held the position of Manager Program Reporting and Risk at Ergon Energy, leading a team responsible for the $700 million per annum capital works program. Earlier roles include Senior Corporate Advisor at Queensland Treasury Corporation, where corporate advice was provided to major state-owned transport businesses, and Regulatory Analyst at Energex. James also gained experience as a Researcher/Tutor at Queensland University of Technology. Academically, James holds a Master's degree in Applied Finance from Kaplan University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Arts (Psychology) from The University of Queensland, as well as a Bachelor of Business (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology.
