Kuo-Chiang Chen

VP, CO2 at Energy Recovery

Kuo-Chiang (K-C) Chen is Vice President of CO2 at Energy Recovery, where he led a multi-disciplinary team through the research and development, product delivery, and go-to-market strategy of PX G1300 device for CO2 systems. Mr. Chen brings years of new product development expertise to Energy Recovery and has managed over 20 commercialized engineering projects from concept to production, working cross-functionally to align technology efforts with strategic business needs.

Mr. Chen holds more than 50 patents. Prior to joining Energy Recovery, Mr. Chen had extensive experience in the energy space, most recently as Vice President of Upwing Energy. He also served in a variety of leadership roles at Halliburton, CNPC, and Schlumberger. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan University, and an MBA from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
