Lou Talamo, EIT has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1999, they worked as a concept/texture artist for Ubisoft, providing artwork and textures for Disney's Tarzan Untamed Video game on the Playstation 2 platform. Lou then moved on to There.com in 2000, working as a 3D modeler/texture artist, creating concept illustrations and textures for a real-time online world. In 2001, Lou worked as a texture/matte painter for Digital Firepower, where they contributed to the film "Equilibrium" as a matte painter and texture artist. Lou also worked as a level artist for Inevitable Entertainment, responsible for the concept and visual design of environments and characters. During their time there, Lou co-created the original concept and proposal for the popular game title "Area 51" for Midway Entertainment on the PS3. Moving on to Midway Entertainment in 2004, Lou served as an art director, responsible for the artistic vision and management of the art team. In 2007, Lou joined Bioware Corp as a senior environment artist, where they were responsible for environment design and creation. Their work included lighting, propping, texturing, and terrain sculpting using the Heroblade engine. In 2013, Lou worked as a civil CAD tech for Walker Partners Engineers | Surveyors, where they designed wastewater piping networks, roadway alignments, and profiles, and pavement and parking designs using Civil 3D. Lou also created construction drawings for pump stations and site work. Lou also gained experience as a student, taking classes in the architectural and engineering computer-aided design program, with an emphasis on civil design. Finally, Lou's most recent work experience is as an Inside Sales Engineer for Energy Transfer Solutions, LLC and its sister company Klima New York, LLC. Lou provides inside sales and support for Klima New York, representing LG HVAC systems.
Lou Talamo, EIT has a diverse education history. Starting from 1987 to 1992, they attended Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with a focus on the field of study in the same. Following this, they enrolled at the School of Visual Arts, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from 1995 to 1999. In 2012 and 2013, they further extended their education by attending Austin Community College to acquire skills in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.
Additionally, Lou Talamo holds the certification of EIT, which they achieved in January 2013 from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
