As one of the largest energy from waste operators in the UK, we are also transforming the way our industry serves customers, communities and the environment. By playing our part in the decarbonisation of waste management, the national grid and society as a whole, we are helping the UK deliver on its commitment to achieve net zero carbon emissions. At a glance: • 4 operating facilities, 2 under construction • A team of 250 valued employees • 2.3 million tonnes of local and regional post-recycled waste diverted from landfill • 265MW total combined electric generating capacity (gross) • 500,000 UK homes powered • 440,000 tonnes of ash recycled as construction aggregate • 80,000 tonnes of Air Pollution Control Residue (APCr) recycled to create building blocks for use in construction.
