Ashvin Uthayakumar

Ashvin Uthayakumar started working as a Backend Software Engineer II at Engage People Inc. in June 2021. In this role, they implemented new software features, built web services, and prioritized quality, scalability, and modularity. Ashvin also managed the structure and architecture of a project that facilitated data migration and integration with external point banks.

Prior to their current role, Ashvin was an Engineering Design Team Lead at the University of Toronto from September 2017 to December 2017.

Before that, they were the Robotics Team Captain and DECA Finance Executive at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute from September 2015 to June 2017.

Ashvin Uthayakumar attended the University of Toronto from 2017 to 2023, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering.
