Jason Hanson

Jason Hanson is the current President, CEO and Director at enGene. Jason has an extensive background in the medical field, having served as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, Corporate Development and General Counsel at NuVasive, Company Group Chairman and Executive Vice President at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, and Chief Operating Officer at Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. Jason's experience has taught him the importance of innovation in the ever-changing medical landscape, and they have used this knowledge to great effect during their time at enGene. Under Jason's leadership, enGene has become a leading player in the gene therapy space, with several groundbreaking products currently in development. Jason is a tireless advocate for the potential of gene therapy to change the lives of patients suffering from a wide range of conditions, and they are confident that enGene will continue to make major strides in this field in the years to come.

Jason Hanson attended Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the S.C. Johnson School of Business. Jason then went on to earn a Doctor of Law from Duke University School of Law.
