Les D.

Les D. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They began their career as a Senior Developer at Compuware 2000 from September 2002 to August 2004. From there, Les D. moved on to Howard University where they worked as a Research Assistant from September 2005 to May 2007. Following this, Les D. joined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Analyst Developer from July 2007 to December 2014 before progressing to Vice President Technology from January 2015 to March 2017.

Les D. then transitioned into the audio engineering field, initially founding BNM Recording Studio LLC in January 2018, where they worked as the Founder and Lead Engineer until December 2022. During this time, Les D. also served as Founder and Engineer from January 2018 to December 2020.

In 2022, Les D. took on the role of A2 for Live Sound Intern at Herberger Theater Center from May to June. They then moved on to ENGINEEARS as a Freelance Audio Engineer from December 2022 onwards. Most recently, Les D. joined VOXX Studios in March 2023 as a Freelance Audio Engineer. At VOXX Studios, they have also held the position of Studio Assistant and Recording Engineer Intern from January 2023 to March 2023.

Les D. began their education at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2022, where they studied Music Technology. They obtained several certifications during their time at the Conservatory, including Rational Acoustics SMAART Certification, TC Electronic S6000 Certification, Broadcast Proficient, Celemony Melodyne Certification, Dante Level 1 (2nd Ed), Auto-Tune Certification, Pro Tools Tier 5 Certification, L'Acoustics Soundvision, MIDAS M32 Certification, Pro Tools Tier 4 Music Certification, Pro Tools Tier 4 Post Certification, Waves Certification, Pro Tools Tier 2 Certification, Pro Tools Tier 3 Certification, and Pro Tools Tier 1 Certification.

Prior to attending the Conservatory, Les D. also attended Crē8 Music Academy in 2017, where they studied Music Technology.

Before pursuing their interest in music technology, Les D. obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Barbados Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Howard University.
