Susan Kreemer Pickford

Susan Kreemer Pickford has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Susan is currently a Steering Committee Member at Circular Economy Western Australia (CEWA) since 2023. In 2015, they joined Engineers Australia and held the positions of General Manager Western Australia and Principal Engineer. At Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory, they have served as Co-Chair of the Board, Board Member, and Chair of the Industry Advisory Board. Susan has also been actively involved with Curtin University as Chair of the Faculty of Science and Engineering Advisory Council. Susan has held various roles at CLASS OF YOUR OWN, Perth Hills Future, Australia Awards - Women's Leadership Initiative, and the National Science Week WA Coordinating Committee. Earlier in their career, they worked at Jacobs as the WA/NT Client Relationship Manager and Transport Planning Section Lead WA, and at Sinclair Knight Merz as the Graduate Development Coordinator, Specialist Writer, and Senior Transport Engineer.

Susan Kreemer Pickford earned a B Eng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Paisley between 1989 and 1994. Prior to that, they attended Williamwood High School from 1983 to 1989. Additionally, they obtained a certification from Engineers Australia, specifically the National Engineering Register, in July 2020.
