Vance Kelly

Vance Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Vance is currently working as a Data Governance Lead at Engineers Australia since October 2022. Prior to this, Vance held the position of Principal Data Manager at the Department of Resources (Queensland) from January 2020 to October 2022, where they ensured data integrity and clarity. Vance also worked as a Geoscience Information Scientist at the same department from August 2018 to January 2020.

Before their time at the Department of Resources, Vance worked as a Geologist and Technical Officer at Fluid Energy Consultants from October 2016 to July 2018, where they provided geological and data management services to the Oil and Gas industry. Vance was also employed as an Exploration Geologist at Santos Ltd from May 2015 to June 2016, focusing on the exploration and appraisal of CSG resources. During their time at Santos Ltd, Vance also held the positions of Development Geologist and Graduate Geologist - Geomechanics. Vance started their career at Santos Ltd as a Graduate Operations and Implementation Geologist.

Alongside these educational accomplishments, Vance has also obtained certifications in Data Ethics, Data Strategy, and Learning Data Governance from LinkedIn, with the years of completion ranging from 2022 to 2023.
