Engineers In Business Fellowship
Welcome to Engineers in Business Fellowship (EIBF). EIBF’s mission is three-fold 1. To promote continuing business education for all engineers to develop their skills of innovation, and better management and governance. 2. To create and operate a charitable fund for the support of such continuing education. 3. To develop a network of engineers who are, or who have been, engaged in such education in order to identify and illustrate its merits for the public benefit. EIBF's flagship initiative is the Sainsbury Management Fellows (SMF) scholarship for talented young engineers. The SMF scholarship scheme enables professional engineers to add business, finance and marketing expertise to their engineering skills. Each year EIBF awards £500,000 of MBA scholarships to talented young engineers with exceptional education qualifications and leadership qualities. On graduation, the scholarship awardees become Sainsbury Management Fellows and gain access to an impressive network of professional contacts and activities including high-level networking events and mentoring. In addition to the SMF scholarships, EIBF offers mentorship to engineers and provides funds to UK universities to support their enterprise education. This enables universities to reward engineering students and graduates with seed money for innovative ideas that can solve problems in society. • To learn more about EIBF visit www.eibf.org.uk • To learn more about the SMF scholarship visit www.smf.org.uk. • To learn more about the prize funds awarded to universities visit www.eibc.org.uk
