Kavita Parikh

Project Lead, Nepal Khanepani-samit at Engineers Without Borders USA

Kavita Parikh is a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at Columbia Engineering, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a CSPC Innovation Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency & Congress, Kavita focuses on sustainable agriculture and federal policy. As a Project Lead for the WASH Water Supply Project in Khabari, Nepal, Kavita manages fundraising and design efforts in collaboration with Engineers Without Borders. Previous experiences include internships with Electric Hydrogen, Orbit Fab, and First Solar, where Kavita contributed to significant savings and efficiency improvements in product integration, mission analysis, and solar module production. Kavita has also participated in research and development projects at NASA and served as a research assistant at the University of Toledo.
