Lizzie Maly

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Maly is a Bachelor of Science candidate in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with an expected graduation in May 2025. Currently serving as a Peripheral Interventions Research and Development Intern at Boston Scientific and a Student Assistant for the BME201 course at UW-Madison, Lizzie actively collaborates with peers to enhance students' understanding of biomedical engineering. Experienced as a Project Manager with Engineers Without Borders USA, Lizzie is involved in the design and implementation of a water filtration and distribution system for communities in Nicaragua. Previous roles include serving as a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern at Plexus Corp. and an Undergraduate Researcher at the Morgridge Institute for Research. Additionally, Lizzie has provided customer service as a Camp Concierge and childcare as a summertime nanny.
