Sarah Bishop

Sarah Bishop is an experienced educator and freelance copywriter with a strong focus on biology and science education. Currently serving as a Teacher of Biology at Marian College Christchurch since February 2024, Sarah also works as a Freelance Copywriter at EngineRoom. With a long-standing commitment to education, Sarah co-founded the Marine Megafauna Foundation in 2009, where an education advisor role has been held since, alongside past positions including Education Lead at Blue Cradle Foundation and Year 12 Dean at St Andrew's College, NZ. Sarah's prior experience includes teaching at Huntingtower School and Brighton Grammar School, contributing to conservation education projects, and serving on the board of advisors for the Wildlife Fund of the All Out Africa Foundation. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Botany and a Diploma of Secondary Education from Massey University.
