Catalina Novoa Henríquez is a Lead Researcher and Enzyme Engineer at EnginZyme since November 2021. Prior to this, Catalina worked as a Principal Scientist in Protein Engineering at Kura Biotec from August 2019 to October 2021. With a background in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering, Catalina has extensive experience in metabolic engineering and biocatalysis, focusing on projects related to enzyme production and engineering. Catalina's research has encompassed areas such as coenzyme Q production and diffusional restrictions effects of immobilized enzymes. Throughout their academic and professional journey, Catalina has engaged in various internships and research projects, showcasing a dedication to advancing the field of biotechnology.
