Jeffrey Boerth

Jeffrey Boerth is an accomplished Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, with experience as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry since August 2018. Prior to this role, Jeffrey Boerth served as a Graduate Student at Yale University from January 2014 to June 2018, conducting research under Professor Jonathan Ellman, culminating in a PhD in Organic Chemistry. The dissertation focused on Stereoselective Multicomponent Transformations utilizing Rh(III)- and Co(III)-Catalyzed C-H Bond Functionalization. Jeffrey Boerth also contributed to education as a Supplemental Instructor for Organic Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, assisting students for three semesters and leading review sessions.
