Andy Wales

Andy Wales is an experienced coach and educator currently serving as the EPP & Academy Coach for South East Stars and a PE & Games Teacher and Head of Swimming at Milbourne Lodge School since September 2023. With a long-standing tenure as a Player Pathway Coach at The Kia Oval - Surrey County Cricket Club since 2017, Andy has developed coaching programs, talent identification strategies, and valuable partnerships across various stakeholders. Additionally, Andy has been a Coach Developer with the England & Wales Cricket Board since 2019, focusing on the development of future coaches. Volunteer roles include Senior Rugby Team Manager for Surrey Rugby and various positions at schools promoting cricket and sports education. Andy's educational background includes a PGCE in Physical Education from the University of Buckingham and a degree in Sports Science from the University of Surrey, complemented by qualifications in sports massage therapy.
