Interim Marketing Director - The Hundred at ENGLAND AND WALES CRICKET BOARD LIMITED

Joe Steel has a strong background in marketing and sports development. Joe started their career as a Sport and Play Development Officer at Bradford Council - Sport and Leisure Services in 2008. In 2011, they joined the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as a Participation Manager, focusing on young people. Joe then progressed to Marketing Manager in 2016 and Senior Marketing Manager in 2018. Joe's most recent roles at ECB include Head of Brand and Team Marketing and currently serving as the Interim Marketing Director for The Hundred.

Joe Steel has obtained a range of educational qualifications throughout their history. In 1998, they completed their secondary education at Bingley Grammar School. Moving forward, from 2004 to 2007, Joe pursued a degree in Sport and Leisure Management at Sheffield Hallam University. Seeking further knowledge in the field of marketing, they enrolled at the London School of Marketing between 2015 and 2016 to earn a CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing. Lastly, in 2018, Joe participated in the Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson, enhancing their expertise in marketing.
