Lisa Letchford OLY has a diverse range of work experience in the field of hockey. Lisa has served as the Head of Hockey at Framlingham College since 2023. Prior to that, they held various coaching positions with England and Great Britain Hockey, including England U18 Head Coach and England U16 Girls Head Coach. Lisa was also the Lead Talent Development Coach for girls. Lisa worked as the Assistant Coach for Belgium Red Lions Indoor at Hockey Belgium in 2020. Lisa has experience as a primary school teacher at École Européenne Bruxelles-Argenteuil (EEBA) and Athenee Royale Rixensart. Lisa has also held coaching roles at Waterloo Ducks Hockey Club, where they were the Head Coach of the Women's Performance Team, and at Royal Wellington Tennis & Hockey Club, where they served as the Director of Performance and Head Coach of the Men's 1st XI. Additionally, Lisa has worked as an Anatomy in Motion Practitioner, analyzing movement inefficiencies and reeducating the body to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Lisa began their education at Helena Romanes School from 1990 to 1998, although there is no specific degree or field of study mentioned for this period. Lisa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Land Management at the Royal Agricultural University from 1998 to 2001, graduating with a BSc(hons) 1st Class. After a few years, they returned to the same university and obtained a Diploma Higher Education in Sports Therapy from London Metropolitan University between 2004 and 2006. Most recently, Lisa attended the University of East London from 2019 to 2020, earning an IPGCE in Primary Education.
