Chris Snell

Chris Snell is an experienced athletic equipment professional with a career spanning over two decades in various roles within the sports industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment at Rice Athletics since March 2020, Snell previously held the position of Director of Football Equipment Operations at the University of California, Los Angeles from June 2018 to March 2020. Earlier experiences include serving as Director of College Programs at Head Health Network and Equipment Services Coordinator with the Houston Texans. Snell's career also includes significant roles with the Hamburg Sea Devils and the New York Jets, starting as an Equipment Services Intern. Chris Snell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication, obtained in 2001.
