James Martin

James Martin has extensive experience in emergency management and medical services, holding the position of Chief Dispatcher for the New York City Fire Department since February 2003. In addition to this role, Martin serves as a paramedic and EMS educator for Englewood Hospital and RWJBarnabas Health. Active in training and education, Martin instructs EMT courses and advanced life support classes at Staten Island Emergency Medical Training Inc. and Union College, NJ. Previous experience includes roles as a mobile intensive care paramedic and instructor at Hackensack Meridian Health and Northwell Health. Martin's educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Emergency Management from SUNY Empire State College and completion of the Emergency Manager Program.
