David Capizzi

David Capizzi has been in the cosmetics, personal care and home care industry for over 40 years. David began their career in 1979 as a Laboratory Technician at Unilever. David then moved to Avon Products in 1981 as a Senior Laboratory Technician. In 1986, they joined L'Oréal as a Research and Development Chemist. In 1989, they became Manager of Research and Development at Bush Boake Allen (IFF). In 2001, they were promoted to Director of Research and Development at Drom fragrances. David then moved to Cosmetic Essence, Inc. in 2008 as Group Leader of Research and Development, supervising two direct reports while developing and researching new products. In 2012, they became Director of Product Development & Stability Labs at Mane. David most recently joined Englewood Lab in 2020 as Senior Scientist, with three direct reports, developing new innovative skin care and hair care products.

David Capizzi attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, where they studied Chemistry.
