Dr Kirsten Riley

Dr. Kirsten Riley is an experienced digital curatorial professional currently serving as Senior Digital Curatorial Manager at English Heritage since January 2022. Prior to this role, Kirsten held the position of Digital Content and Social Media Manager at Wellcome Collection, where responsibilities included the strategic development and management of social media channels and content commissioning for Wellcome Stories from June 2017 to January 2022. Additionally, Kirsten was the Web and Social Media Manager at London Transport Museum from June 2010 to July 2017, overseeing website and social media content creation and multi-channel strategy. Earlier roles included Web Editor at the Digital Preservation Coalition and Online Collections Research Assistant at Glasgow Museums. Kirsten holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from The Glasgow School of Art and a PhD in History of Art from the University of Glasgow.
