Agostino Cannavino

Agostino Cannavino is the Vice Chair at English Montreal School Board. Prior to this, they were a Consultant for Credit, Risk and Order to Cash. Agostino has also worked for Imperial Tobacco Canada as the Manager of Credit and Corporate Services.

In their role at Imperial Tobacco, Agostino was responsible for reviewing and managing a credit portfolio in excess of $200M. Agostino also provided effective analysis of credit worthiness of applicants, risk, customer operating profile vs. industry profile including historical profit and loss performance, financial condition and cash flow. Additionally, Agostino led the overall management of credit, risk, collection activities, corporate disbursements and billing adjustments.

Agostino has a proven track record in developing policy recommendations, employee development, capacity planning, process design, budgeting, and strategic planning. Agostino is also an effective communicator, having developed and delivered presentations to executive leaders and key stakeholders.

Agostino’s experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry will be invaluable in their new role as Vice Chair at English Montreal School Board.

Agostino Cannavino received a Masters in Business Administration from Université de Sherbrooke with a focus in management.
